Dental Crowns & Bridges
Bridges and crowns are fixed prosthetic devices that are cemented onto existing teeth or implants by a dentist or prosthodontist. Crowns are used most commonly to entirely cover or “cap” a damaged tooth or cover an implant. Bridges are commonly used to cover a space if you’re missing one or more teeth.
Extractions
A dental extraction (also referred to as tooth extraction, exodontia, exodontics, or informally, tooth pulling) is the removal of teeth from the dental alveolus (socket) in the alveolar bone. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, but most commonly to remove teeth.
Full And Partial Dentures
Dentures are removable substitutes for missing teeth. Full dentures are used when a person is missing all their natural teeth, while partial dentures replace only a few missing teeth here or there to eliminate gaps and improve chewing. Dentures are an affordable way to replace of missing teeth in your mouth.
Implant Crowns And Bridges
Bridges cover the gap between missing teeth. The anchoring teeth are called abutments. The replacement tooth is attached to the crowns fitting over the abutments and is called a pontic. Dental Implant: Implants are made of titanium (simulating a tooth root) and are placed into the jawbone surgically under the gum line.
