- Dr. Thomas B. Smilesmore
nown as “Doctor Tom” to most, Thomas B. Smilesmore has been a practicing dentist for over 35 years. After graduating from dental school at the University of Alabama – Birmingham, Dr. Smilesmore went on to complete a general practice residency at New York’s Presbyterian Hospital, in conjunction with the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Smilesmore places a high priority on continuing education, having been named a Master of the Institute of General Dentistry.
- Dr. Jackson D Smilesmore
“Doctor Jack” joined the practice in 2006. Like his father, he is a graduate of the University of Alabama – Birmingham School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Esthetic Dentistry at the highly renowned Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been accredited by the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and appeared on Dental City Magazine’s “Top 40 under 40” list from 2010 through 2018.
- Dr. Elisabeth Smilesmore
“Doctor E”, as the kids call her, joined the practice in 2017 and serves as our primary pediatric dentist. Following in the footsteps of her father and brother, Elisabeth graduated from dental school at the University of Alabama – Birmingham. After her graduation, she completed an elite two year pediatric dental residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Following her residency, she volunteered for a one year mission with Dentists Without Borders.
